Thanks! Mostly a protractor for a straight edge and yep...french curves for the rest. Sure makes for a smooth line when you back shade against them.

I feel ya, had a fit getting the weapon correct on my " soldier" drawing, .. Reluctant to even try something real technical like a car or plane. I have a French curve, brand new, never used it yet,.. Heh.. Maybe I will soon :)

Oh I think you'll like using the curves on technical things. Sure makes for a steadier hand on those loooong lines.:)
